Cicada donates a percentage of our annual net proceeds to local non profits. Our general focus is to underserved youth and the arts. We also value the high quality of expert craftsmanship, and we participate in many mentorship programs, encouraging young designers through hands on training.

Appointments at Cicada last approximately 1 hour. Our guest seating area is small, so if your group is more than 3 people, please let us know when booking the appointment. Food and drink are not allowed in the shop.

Our gowns are designed and created in shop at our downtown Seattle store. Owners and designers Jennifer Gay and Elizabeth Klob, are committed to providing an exceptional personal experience for each bride; designing gowns that express the individuality of each bride and making sure each dress fits like a dream.
Cicada abides by a strict ethical code of sustainability. Our dresses are high quality silks and laces, each individually made by expert seamstresses. We are proud to have been making our gowns in the United States since 1994.
